XI PI 50th Anniversary Weekend

HISTORY

An audacious and bold group of sons of Blood and Thunder founded the XI PI Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity in 1974. The founding members are Samuel C. Hunter, Lloyd E. Thomas, Willie M. Bratcher, T.C. Chambers, Harold M. Clay, Andrew Gaither, Jerome D. Reed, Delano Robinson, Ernest E. Varner, and Charles W. Ellis.
 

VISION

- Be a leading fraternal organization by participating in the Colorado Springs Community through civic and charitable activities

- Be recognized among fraternal and community leaders as a chapter with moral and charitable
contributions that are positive and enduring


- Foster and inspire college men of like ideas to join, and actively participate in our brotherhood of friendship

PROGRAMS

Since its inception in 1974 in Colorado Springs, Xi Pi Chapter has executed a wide range of community service programs and activities:

- Scholarship Program: For qualified Colorado Springs High School seniors to assist with college funding

MISSION

Xi Pi Chapter promotes our Fraternity’s mandated programs as well as exemplifies the four cardinal principals of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance and Uplift.  We foster the growth of our college and graduate men by executing programs and offering opportunities that serve the community and assist young college bound students who are aspiring to succeed
